1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using The Integrity Report, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. Service Description

The Integrity Report provides AI-powered content analysis to detect AI-generated text. Our service uses statistical analysis and machine learning models to assess the authenticity of digital content.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to bypass usage limits or payment requirements
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract our AI models
  • Share account credentials with others

5. Billing and Payments

Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or yearly basis. Payments are processed securely through Stripe.

6. Subscription Cancellation and Refunds

6.1 Right to Cancel

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting our support team. Upon cancellation:

  • Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period
  • You will not be charged for subsequent billing periods
  • You will retain access to premium features until the end of the paid period

6.2 14-Day Withdrawal Period (EU/Swiss Customers)

In accordance with EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and Swiss Consumer Protection Act, customers in the European Union and Switzerland have the right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 days of subscription commencement without giving any reason.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by sending a clear statement to our support team. We will process a full refund within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice.

Important: If you have used the service during the withdrawal period, you acknowledge that you expressly requested the service to begin immediately, and you may be charged a proportional amount for services rendered up to the point of withdrawal.

6.3 Refund Policy

Refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis:

  • EU/Swiss customers: Full refund available within 14 days (subject to proportional deduction for services used)
  • All customers: Partial refunds may be granted for service outages or technical issues lasting more than 48 consecutive hours
  • Credit purchases: Non-refundable once purchased, but credits do not expire
  • No refunds: For partial month usage after the withdrawal period

6.4 Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. We will notify you at least 7 days before automatic renewal for annual subscriptions. You can cancel auto-renewal at any time without penalty before the next billing date.

6.5 Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify subscription prices. Existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days in advance of any price changes. Price changes will take effect at your next renewal date. You may cancel before the renewal date to avoid the new pricing.

7. Disclaimer

Our AI detection service is provided "as is" without warranties. Results are probabilistic and should be used as one factor in content authenticity assessment, not as definitive proof.

8. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms or at our discretion.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
